Love Mouse. She’s such a good model. She lets me get right in her face with my camera - although admittedly she often looks every way I’m not…

My local :)
Love hanging out with Mouse in the hazy morning sun. My favourite way to start the weekend.
I Heart Cats.
My mad little cat, went over the road to hunt for mice. It’s full of long grass and trees - perfect for a mouse, and perfect for a Cat called Mouse.
Why do I love animals so much? Because they’re so imperfect and unique and they don’t judge you. So when I started pet photography, I wanted to capture that - perfect photographs to me don’t seem quite right, there’s something so real about a slightly out of focus shot or odd angles.
I love capturing an animals character - like my cat, Mouse - she is such a funny and totally bonkers little furry person. I spent some time following her around and playing with her at the weekend - and these are some of the pictures I took.
One thing I’ve learnt is that to get the best out of my photography, I just have to be myself and be confident with my instincts and decisions. One of those instincts is that the photos I love the most are where everything else is forgotten and it’s just Me and Fur.
OK, off to do some wedding preparation now…

What gorgeous doggies… Jack and Stella.
So my next challenge? Shoot on location. It’s great to photograph pets in their own environment at home, and with cats that’s the only place you can do it. But for my next doggy shoot I’m going on location. And that’s next weekend I hope! Please bring us some good weather!

Awesome pet photography inspiration. Love the angles and feel of all of her photography.
